Well considering that a bunch of the folks here are from the Kirby forums, I don't quite know if I should advertise this here too, but since Mamthew and Kirbster both insist.

~Brief History~
Kirby Cosmic Chaos (abbreviated to KCCh) is a fangame project in development by Azurarok Studio, a.k.a. the Niftihalo Studios Game Making Team.  The original idea was brought forth by BlasterBoy, which the staff has modified countless numbers of times to the extent that it is almost hard to tell it started from what he had.

~Story~
Popstar is under attack by the alien race of the Verdans.  While Meta Knight and his army is busy holding back their forces, he feels something is not right, and thus asks Kirby to investigate.  Thus begins Kirby's new adventure.

~Characters~
Kirby
Meta Knight
King Dedede

Emperor Neo
Geek
Gina

~RPG-Action Mixed System~
In addition to the usual platforming, characters have stats like Levels, Experience, Power, and Defense.  Levels are gained by defeating enemies, and doing so will raise HP, Power, and Defense.

~Abilities~
The number of abilities reaches a whopping 42 total.  Of which 30 of them is normally found.

Each character has something called an Ability Level, which can be gained by simply using the attacks of an ability against an enemy.  the higher the level, the more attacks there will be, hence the player gets to experience a transition from the simplistic Kirby's Adventure type controls to the advanced Kirby Super Star controls.

Ability cards, which are pretty much identical to the ability scrolls from Kirby Squeak Squad, can also be equipped to give a little modification to an ability's attack set.  P-type and D-type (Power and Defensive) cards exist for each ability.

~Helpers~
The game will use the Helper system, which we all loved in KSS.  A few drastic changes are made in order to fit the RPG-Action style.  For example, a helper won't change species when given an ability item.  It will heal some bit of health from it at the least.  There is more to that, but I shall explain it when we get to putting that part of the system thrown in.

Helpers also cannot be made anywhere, and require the "Helper Generator," which can be found in one particular place.  Some friendly NPCs could also be recruited to become a helper.

~Towns~
3D free roaming towns are the centers of each area of the game, branching off to the stages.  There the player may shop for items (currency: star pieces), talk to the townsfolk, play minigames and subgames, etc.

...and that's pretty much all that I will explain at the moment.  Some other details as well as some slightly outdated Screen Shots and Videos can be seen at the original thread at KRR.

I will post screen shots here once we get the gameplay screen more organized.  It's getting a makeover right now.

You know already, Minon, but I have the highest hopes for this game. Based off all the dynamics I've seen thus far, you're basically going to be giving us what HAL has been too lazy to do the past 5 years. Good show.

Hey guys.  I should be in bed right now, sleeping, but I promised Minon I'd do this, mainly because he deserves the rest much more than I.

https://sites.google.com/site/azurarokstudio/

that link there is our SAGE booth.  It has a NEW DEMO on it that Minon has been up past midnight fine-tuning.

The demo allows for you to input your own controls, and also allows for 1-2 player cop-op.  There are some bugs here and there along with some aspects of the game that aren't back in yet, but none of the problems are game-breaking.

Also, you'd better be glad that you can't die in this demo, because the enemies are RUTHLESS right now.  We'll be fixing both of those at a later time.

Please tell us what you think!  Any comments and questions about the demo would be greatly appreciated.

Way to go, Steve.  Your genericness knows no bounds.
