I hope everyone had a Merry Christmas this year, or a Happy Hanukkah, or at the very least a happy Winter Solstice.
And for those that celebrate the season this way, I'm sure you're is itching to show off what you received from Santa this year.
I got a rather nice Derwent watercolor pencil set from my father. He even went the extra mile and got me some super thick paper and some basic brushes to go with it. I'll have to figure out some way to use it. Should be pretty entertaining.
I also received the movies Stand By Me, Apocalypto, and the special edition of Spaceballs.
I got Crono Trigger DS, which I've only been able to give a cursory glance to, but it seems like an additional step up from the PSone version, movies included. (win) I also got Personal Trainer: Cooking, something I'd asked for specifically. Turned out to be better than I expected, a fully interactive cookbook with lots of good recipes for all skill levels. It's a good little program, I'd recommend it for anyone with a DS that needs a good cook book.
My sister, once again, managed to surprise me. She got me a nice Cocoa mug, with some good instant powder. She also snagged all of the Peanut's toys they're giving out at Wendy's (she's soon to be a co-manager there).
Best part of the whole thing was getting to spend time with my family. Especially my nieces. They're growing up faster than I expected. ; x; And they're sooooo cute, especially the younger of the two. She's got a ton of baby fat still, so she looks like a sumo or something. xD Dinner with the family, made milkshakes, exchanged stories... was a very good day for me all around.
